2025 began a bit bumpy and bitter for us Californians who call the Pacific Palisades home; much was lost in a community’s tragedy. All Begakis are well. I remain, just as before, committed to sharing the stories and writing the history that I do—California’s role, as she is the seed of the history of capitalism, I tell.
